Hiring Fair! North Chicago School District 187 is hiring local union tradespeople for the construction of the new Forrestal Elementary School. The district and its construction partner, Bully & Andres, are hosting an event to share project details, the construction timeline, and available trade opportunities. The D187 Elected School Board Campaign hosted a District Information Session and Candidate Meet and Greet on January 28th. District Superintendent Dr. John Price and members of his administration provided school board candidates and families and community members with information about the hard work that goes into supporting our students’ success.
Huge thanks to our amazing teachers! We hosted a special Teacher Appreciation Lunch to celebrate NMSA reaching ISBE's commendable status and show our appreciation. Let's show them how much we value their hard work!

NMSA performs at 12:56 PM at Rolling Meadows High School (2901 Central Rd, Rolling Meadows, IL). Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for seniors, and free for kids under 3.
At the 12/17/2024 Board meeting, District 187 and the Board presented Mayor Rockingham and the North Chicago City Council with a plaque.
