Student Achievement Department
The Department of Student Achievement is dedicated to providing comprehensive, district-wide support and leadership to staff, students, and families. Through our Multitiered Systems of Support (MTSS), we actively engage students across different tiers, fostering success from Birth through college and career readiness. Our commitment is to eliminate barriers and promote equity, with a specific focus on addressing social-emotional learning (SEL), social-emotional behaviors (SEB), and academics.
Our approach involves three tiers:
Tier 1: Universal (for all students, encompassing the whole child)
Tier 2: Targets specific skills for small groups or individuals
Tier 3: Offers individualized support
Our overarching goal is to empower students to evolve into socially and emotionally resilient individuals equipped with the skills to self-regulate, empathize, and lead wholesome lives as they embark on their journey into the broader world.
